It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Bladen had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pender Patriots by a score of 3-1. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2016.
West Bladen's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Pender, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
Looking ahead, West Bladen will face off against Bartlett Yancey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pender does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
