Eldorado had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Valley Vikings a 16-0 shutout on Friday. The Firehawks not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th (when they won 18-0).

Eldorado's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Eldorado will face off against Rancho at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Firehawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
