Basketball Game Preview: Inter-City Baptist Chargers vs. Roeper Roughriders

The Inter-City Baptist Chargers will face off against the Roeper Roughriders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Inter-City Baptist will be strutting in after a victory while Roeper will be coming in after a defeat.

Inter-City Baptist will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Plymouth Christian Academy, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Inter-City Baptist skirted past Plymouth Christian Academy 38-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Roeper came up short against Clarenceville on Tuesday and fell 44-34. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Inter-City Baptist's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Roeper, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Inter-City Baptist skirted past Roeper 30-27 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Inter-City Baptist repeat their success, or does Roeper have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
