Volleyball Recap: Campolindo Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

Campolindo won the last time they faced Las Lomas and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Campolindo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-24, 25-22, 26-24.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mattias Radke, who had 11 digs.

Campolindo's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Las Lomas, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-5 record.

Campolindo has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against San Mateo on the 12th. As for Las Lomas, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against College Park at 6:30 p.m. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
