Football Game Preview: Yazoo County Panthers vs. O'Bannon Greenwaves + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Yazoo County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the O'Bannon Greenwaves at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Yazoo County 13.8, O'Bannon 11.3) so any points scored will be well earned.

Meanwhile, O'Bannon also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Edwards by a score of 20-8. The game marked the Greenwaves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Yazoo County will have to keep a close watch on Jamychael Williams and Ronnie Williams, a pair of players who had a big impact on O'Bannon's prior game. Jamychael threw for 136 yards and one touchdown, while Ronnie picked up 67 receiving yards and one score.

Yazoo County's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for O'Bannon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
