Basketball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

Freeport lost against South Walton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Freeport Bulldogs received a blow as they fell 81-67 to the South Walton Seahawks. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Seahawks are ranked 123rd).

Freeport has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for South Walton, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

As of now, neither Freeport nor South Walton have any future games scheduled.
