Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus lost against Houston County back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Columbus lost, don't look at Jaslyn Watts. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two aces. Watts has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Columbus now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Houston County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Harris County on the 14th. As for Houston County, they will challenge Riverwood at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
