Soccer Game Preview: Jersey Shore vs. Wellsboro + How To Watch

The Jersey Shore Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Wellsboro Hornets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jersey Shore is coming into the match on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Mount Carmel on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Jersey Shore were the better team in the second half.

They hit Mount Carmel with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jessalyn Milbrand, Elizabeth Hollick, and Rees Bierly.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wellsboro). They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Towanda on Thursday. Wellsboro haven't had any issues with Towanda recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Wellsboro's record now sits at 8-4. As for Jersey Shore, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-7.

Jersey Shore beat Wellsboro by a goal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
