Volleyball Recap: River City Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

River City proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the River Valley Falcons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since April 4, 2024.

River City is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for River Valley, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-7.

River City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Marysville on the 12th. As for River Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mira Loma on the 12th.
