Basketball Recap: Wellington Comes Up Short

Wellington lost against Loudonville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wellington Dukes lost 42-19 to the Loudonville Redbirds. The Dukes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Wellington lost, don't look at Brooke Lehmkuhl. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Wellington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Loudonville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellington will host Oberlin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Loudonville, they will welcome Fredericktown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
