Center Grove waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Whiteland Warriors 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaylen Plunkard paced Center Grove's offense, picking up 11 kills. Plunkard got some help from Anabelle Schembra and her 27 assists. Schembra was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Center Grove's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Whiteland, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Center Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Franklin Community on the 2nd. As for Whiteland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Avon on the 8th.
