Basketball Game Preview: Hampton Park Christian vs. New Covenant School Cavaliers

Hampton Park Christian and New Covenant School are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. Hampton Park Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the New Covenant School Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Back in December of 2024, Hampton Park Christian came up short against Lake Pointe Academy and fell 37-27.

Meanwhile, New Covenant School put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 57-31 margin over Oakwood Christian. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Hampton Park Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Covenant School, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Hampton Park Christian took a serious blow against New Covenant School when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 71-9. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hampton Park Christian was down 49-3.
