Softball Recap: Pacheco Comes Up Short

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Stone Ridge Christian Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Emma Landeros and Yasmin Regalado stepped up to the plate in a big way. Landeros scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4, while Regalado scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave Landeros a new career-high. Sasha Siemiller also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Pacheco now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Stone Ridge Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Pacheco has already played their next match (against Golden Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stone Ridge Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 23-4 win against Riverbank on the 4th.
