Basketball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Evans

Evans had won five straight games and Kimariya Hinton did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Evans Knights walked away with a 43-32 win over the Greenbrier Wolfpack thanks in part to Hinton, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 17 games she's played.

Addisen Odom and Jayla Ayler certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Odom posted 11 points and seven rebounds, while Ayler went 7 of 13 en route to 14 points.

Evans pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Greenbrier, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Effingham County the next time they take the court. Evans will head out to face Effingham County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Greenbrier will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
