The Old Forge Blue Devils will face off against the Dunmore Bucks at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Old Forge made easy work of Honesdale and carried off a 7-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.
Kamryn Notari made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over seven innings pitched. Notari was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Ariana Davitt was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Kate O'Hearn was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Dunmore sidestepped Lakeland for a 4-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.
Like Old Forge, Dunmore also got a great game from a two-way player: Paige Ancherani. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Ancherani was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Jaclyn Brown was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Dunmore pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Old Forge, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Old Forge took their victory against Dunmore in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Bucks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
