Baseball Recap: Ridgedale Takes a Loss

Ridgedale's last matchup with Upper Scioto Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Rockets lost 17-7 to the Rams. The Rockets have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Logan Oliver was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Brody Mawer, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Ridgedale's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Upper Scioto Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgedale will take on Crestline at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will square off against Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
