The Bandera BULLDOGS won the last time they faced the Navarro Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Bandera enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over Navarro. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bandera.
Elijah Salas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Isaac Segura was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Bandera's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-12. As for Navarro, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.
Bandera will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Canyon Lake at 6:30 p.m. As for Navarro, they will head out on the road to square off against Boerne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Boerne's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Navarro has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
