Football Game Preview: Trinity Leadership Tigers vs. Callisburg Wildcats

The Trinity Leadership Tigers will square off against the Callisburg Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Leadership will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Trinity Leadership is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Inspired Vision: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the EAGLES out of the water with a 44-6 final score. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Trinity Leadership had a senior duo take command as Alvin Sims rushed for 237 yards while picking up 11.3 yards per carry and Londen Cook threw for 171 yards and one TD on only 15 passes. Sims' longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Trinity Leadership was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 168 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups.

Callisburg not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 7, 2024 (when they won 49-13). They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-8 win over S & S Consolidated. The Wildcats pushed the score to 35-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams had little chance of recovering from.

Trinity Leadership's record is now 8-2. As for Callisburg, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
