Soccer Recap: Peoria Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against ALA - Gilbert North, Peoria was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Combs Coyotes. The Panthers' winning goal came courtesy of Victoria Rico.

Peoria's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Combs, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

When Peoria and Combs next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Peoria will try to stop Greenway's three-game winning streak when the meet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Combs will face off against ALA - Gilbert North and their three-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
