Softball Recap: Tenafly Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Tenafly's offense. They lost 16-0 to the NV - Old Tappan Golden Knights on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Golden Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

Tenafly saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elle Naguib, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Tenafly's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for NV - Old Tappan, the win keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Tenafly will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Academy of the Holy A at 4:15 p.m. As for NV - Old Tappan, they are taking a road trip to take on River Dell at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
