Volleyball Recap: Vasquez Mustangs vs. Faith Baptist Contenders
Vasquez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Faith Baptist Contenders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-21, 25-16.
Faith Baptist can attribute much of their success to Kate Melton, who had six aces. Those six aces gave Melton a new career-high.
Vasquez's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Faith Baptist, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-3-1.
