Volleyball Recap: Johansen Takes a Loss

Johansen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Livingston Wolves. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Johansen started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 25-21.

Johansen's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Livingston, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Johansen is set to challenge their familiar foe Ceres at 6:30 p.m. on October 6. Meanwhile, Livingston will take on rival Pacheco at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
