There's no place like home for Slippery Rock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They skirted past the Grove City Eagles 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Austan Runtas looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Doug Popovec was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
