Basketball Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sherrard Tigers. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Sherrard, they pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Coming up, Riverdale will venture away from home to take on Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sherrard, they and Flanagan-Cornell will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Sherrard is facing Flanagan-Cornell at the right time seeing as Flanagan-Cornell is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
