Football Game Recap: Irene/Wakonda vs. Canistota/Freeman

Canistota/Freeman won the last time they faced Irene/Wakonda, and things went their way on Friday, too. Canistota/Freeman steamrollered Irene/Wakonda 62-27. Followers of Canistota/Freeman probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

The win bumped Canistota/Freeman's record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Irene/Wakonda's record to 4-2.

Next week Canistota/Freeman take on Baltic at 7:00 PM. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. Irene/Wakonda will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Menno/Marion in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
