The nation's top-rated safety is staying home.

B.J. Foster of Angleton (Texas) committed to Texas on Monday during a ceremony at the school. He elaborated on the decision via Twitter:
247Sports has Foster pegged as the No. 16 overall recruit in the Class of 2018. He picked the Longhorns over LSU, Michigan, Ohio State and TCU.

Along with the commitment of Steele (Cibolo, Texas) four-star prospect Caden Sterns last month, Texas just may have the best safety tandem in the 2018 class.

Playing on both sides of the ball, Foster helped Angleton go 9-3 last fall and reach the second round of the state's Class 5A Division I playoffs.
