Softball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 7-4 to the Gleason Bulldogs. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gleason, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Bradford will be playing in front of their home fans against West Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The War Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Gleason, they will challenge Union City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
