It was a good run, but Custer unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Brookings Bobcats by a score of 2-1.

Custer's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Brookings, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Custer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against South on the 13th. As for Brookings, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Dakota Valley on the 13th.
