Baseball Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Wesleyan Christian Academy's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Brook Spartans on Friday.

Wesleyan Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Goff, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Wesleyan Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mountain Brook, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Wesleyan Christian Academy will square off against Presbyterian Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mountain Brook, they will take on Gatewood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mountain Brook's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Gatewood's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
