Volleyball Recap: Smithville Comes Up Short on the Road Against Wimberley

Smithville had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Wimberley Texans on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Texans: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10.

Wimberley pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Smithville will take on Round Rock Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday. As for Wimberley, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Johnson City at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
