Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Madison County had just enough and edged out Springville 7-6. The victory was nothing new for Madison County as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

The team relied heavily on Allison Yeary, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Savannah Cantrell, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Madison County's record now sits at 28-10. As for Springville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 38-4-1 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison County will welcome Sparkman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Springville, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Plainview at 4:30 p.m. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
