On TuesdayCalvary Christian Academy kept up with Johnstown Christian until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Everything went the Johnstown Christian Bluejays' way against the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors as the Johnstown Christian Bluejays made off with a 51-30 victory. The Bluejays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

Shakia Lapp and Eva Penning certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Lapp posted ten points, while Penning earned nine points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. Penning has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Mills, who scored four points along with ten boards and five assists.

The win made it two in a row for Johnstown Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Johnstown Christian will be playing at home against Ferndale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Johnstown Christian's defense has only allowed 23.5 points per game this season, so Ferndale's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will take on Centre County Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Christian Academy is facing Centre County Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Centre County Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
