Volleyball Recap: Burgin Takes a Loss

Burgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Danville Christian Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Burgin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Danville Christian Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Burgin will head out on the road to square off against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Danville Christian Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Garrard County on the 9th.
