Volleyball Recap: Morris Jeff Comes Up Short

Morris Jeff lost against Frederick A. Douglass back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pelicans fell 3-1 to the Bobcats. The Pelicans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morris Jeff's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frederick A. Douglass, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Morris Jeff will head out on the road to face off against Cohen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Pelicans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Frederick A. Douglass, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against New Orleans Charter Science & Math on the 9th.
