Football Game Preview: Calhoun Colts vs. Long Beach Marines + How To Watch

Calhoun hasn't had much luck against Long Beach recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Colts will square off against the Marines. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Long Beach will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Calhoun extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Colts blew past Roslyn/Friends Academy 42-3. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Colts' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Roslyn/Friends Academy are ranked 555th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Long Beach, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on New Hyde Park Memorial with a sharp 34-13 victory on Saturday.

The win got Long Beach back to even at 2-2. As for Calhoun, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Calhoun might still be hurting after the 28-7 loss they got from Long Beach in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
