Basketball Recap: Cedar Ridge's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Cedar Ridge can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past the McNeil Mavericks with points to spare, taking the game 47-28. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Mavericks are ranked 887th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cedar Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for McNeil, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Manor the next time they take the court. McNeil will host Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cedar Ridge will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
