Basketball Recap: Mission Valley Takes a Loss

Mission Valley lost against Chase County last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mission Valley Vikings came up short against the Chase County Bulldogs, falling 51-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered against the Bulldogs since December 17, 2019.

When it comes to explaining why Mission Valley lost, don't look at Kyplee Jacobson. Despite the final result, she posted eight points.

Mission Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Chase County, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mission Valley has already played their next game (against Santa Fe Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
