Basketball Recap: Leesville Comes Up Short

If Leesville was riding high fresh off their 61-21 takedown of Eunice on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wampus Cats had to suffer through a 68-20 loss at the hands of the Iowa Yellowjackets. The defeat continues a trend for the Wampus Cats in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost four in a row.

Leesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Iowa, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-5.
