Los Alamos won against Espanola Valley on Saturday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Hilltoppers put the hurt on the Belen Eagles with a sharp 15-4 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Hilltoppers sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Los Alamos got a massive performance out of Nakota Reed, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits Reed has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jamie Cisneros, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Los Alamos was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .615. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .444 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Los Alamos pushed their record up to 17-5-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Belen, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Coming up, Los Alamos will square off against Taos at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Belen, they will challenge Grants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
