Softball Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short

Clear Creek couldn't beat Clear Springs on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Wildcats fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 6-5. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Clear Creek and nudges their season record down to 16-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Clear Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Clear Creek nor Clear Springs have any future games scheduled.
