St. Mary's-Colgan beats Uniontown for their eighth straight win

Recap: St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers vs. Uniontown Eagles
The St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Uniontown on the road to the tune of 60-0. The result was nothing new for St. Mary's-Colgan, who have now won seven matchups by 35 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Cooper Simmons, who rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Klayton Adamson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
St. Mary's-Colgan's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Southeast and 2-6 Uniontown (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 29.9% over those games). As for Uniontown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
St. Mary's-Colgan will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Uniontown, they will head out on the road to face off against Jayhawk Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
