George Rogers Clark is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Bishop Brossart, who was ranked 25th at the time (George Rogers Clark was ranked second). George Rogers Clark breezed past Bishop Brossart to the tune of 71-36 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won eight games in a row.

Meanwhile, Franklin-Simpson came tearing into Saturday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hornets 72-45.

Franklin-Simpson's victory bumped their record up to 28-2. As for George Rogers Clark, their win bumped their record up to 25-7.
