Basketball Recap: Splendora Takes a Loss

Splendora lost against Crosby back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Splendora Wildcats came up short against the Crosby Cougars, falling 46-23. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Romareya Lister had an outrageously good game for Crosby as she went 8 of 12 on her way to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Lister a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lamaya Clark, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Splendora's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Crosby, they pushed their record up to 15-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Splendora will square off against West Fork at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crosby has already played their next game (against Kingwood Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
