Volleyball Recap: Gibson Southern Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Gibson Southern suffered their biggest loss since August 23rd on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tecumseh Braves, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Lydia Wilson, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine contests.

Gibson Southern's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5. As for Tecumseh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-5.

Looking ahead, Gibson Southern will challenge Evansville North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tecumseh, they will head out on the road to take on North Posey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
