Basketball Recap: Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost to the GRACE Christian Eagles on the road by a 54-35 margin. The Lion were probably out for revenge after losing 61-39 to them when the teams met back in February of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill saw an underclassman step up: freshman Allie McIntosh posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Ella Solle, who had six points.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's record now sits at 1-10. As for GRACE Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-20 victory against Neuse Christian Academy on the 14th. GRACE Christian has also already played their next match (against Cary Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
