While Orion's victory against Sherrard wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Orion's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Sherrard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orion is set to square off against their familiar foe Rockridge at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sherrard will take on rival Monmouth-Roseville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
