Soccer Game Preview: Rancho Cucamonga vs. Linfield Christian

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Rancho Cucamonga face off against the Linfield Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rancho Cucamonga is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Fontana just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Steelers. One thing that didn't help the Cougars' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Luke Gerard.

Rancho Cucamonga's goal came courtesy of Jayden Riley, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Linfield Christian's offense. They lost 3-0 to Kaiser on Tuesday. One reason for the loss might be the Lions' aggressive play style: Eric Heincy and Brayden Maloney were both handed yellow cards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rancho Cucamonga fell to 3-1. As for Linfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2.
