Volleyball Recap: Aragon Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Aragon extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sosefina Tatola. The Dons came out on top against the Burlingame Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Tatola, who had 13 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Loss or not, Burlingame got some senior leadership from Addie Uhrich and Sam Hollrah. Uhrich had 12 digs and two aces, while Hollrah had 11 digs and one assist. Sophia Guzman also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Aragon's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Burlingame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Aragon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Menlo-Atherton on the 25th. As for Burlingame, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hillsdale on the 25th.
