Marion County skates past Brilliant with ease

Recap: Marion County Red Raiders vs. Brilliant Tigers

The Marion County Red Raiders can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They really took it to Brilliant for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-39 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Marion County sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Leading Marion County to victory were Tye Madison and Joe Aldridge. Madison scored 20 points along with three steals and three blocks, while Aldridge scored 14 points along with six assists and six steals. Madison hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Dalyce Floyd, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.

Marion County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Brilliant, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion County will take on Lynn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brilliant, they will be playing at home against Hackleburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Hackleburg is ranked 406th, while Brilliant is ranked 425th).
