Softball Recap: Hobbton Takes a Loss

Hobbton lost against Wallace-Rose Hill back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hobbton Wildcats came up short against the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs, falling 11-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Sinclair made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.

Hobbton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.

Hobbton has already played their next game, a 15-5 loss against Princeton on the 6th. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-7 defeat against Pender on the 6th.
